It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Well, it mostly is.

Because today I took the cover off the boat! And, for the first time, it was warm enough to wear shorts!

Of course, now the REAL work begins! Time to start on the spring commissioning. Painting, repairing, and cleaning the boat. I'm hoping to get it all done in four weeks or less.

We'll see!

Just watching this video makes me happy!

BTW, Joyce won an anchor in the Defender raffle when we went there last week. It's a 14 lb. Lewmar Delta high holding anchor, costs about $135. I want to sell it, but to tell you the truth, it's a great anchor that might be a useful addition when we're cruising.

UPDATE: We quickly unloaded it via Craigs List for 90 bucks. Minus the $29 we spent on shipping and tax, that'll pay for a tasty dinner in PJ for us; if we don't drink too much, that is!
